NatureFootage Update Clip Thumbnail

Updating Clip Thumbnail

Upon upload to Cliplog, one of the first few frames will apply as a still to newly uploaded clips by default. However, this image is not always the best representation of the action/behavior/location of the clip.  As a result, we offer contributors the option to select a new still from thumbnail images that are generated from your clips at roughly one second intervals.  To choose a new thumbnail image for your clip, follow the steps below:
  1. Mouse over a clip and click the thumbnail icon  at the bottom of the frame to enter the thumbnail gallery.
  2. Select the thumbnail that best represents the key action or subject in the video. Your selection is auto-saved.
  3. After selecting your thumbnail, you can proceed to the next clip, return to Cliplog, or enter Clip Edit Mode for this clip.
  4. To save yourself some time, you can also select the checkbox for "Proceed to Next Clip After Still Selection" (located above just above the thumbnail images), which will automatically take you to the next clip in your submission or search upon choosing a thumbnail for the current clip on the thumbnail gallery page.
