NatureFootage Price Levels

Price Levels

The Price Levels are Budget, Standard, Premium, and Gold. The default Price Level for all footage submissions upon upload to Cliplog is Standard. Price Levels can be set for Royalty Free and Rights Managed footage. Please note that camera format alone should not determine the Price Level of a clip.

 Budget:
The Budget tier is for content that is common or that can be easily shot. Choose Budget if the shot is common and could be easily replicated by another skilled professional.

 Standard:
The Standard tier is the default for all footage submissions. Choose Standard if the shot is uncommon but could be easily replicated by another skilled professional.

 Premium:
The Premium tier is for exceptionally shot footage of rare or unique behavior that can command a higher value. Choose Premium if the shot is unique and would be difficult for another skilled professional to obtain.

 Gold:
The Gold tier is for truly one of a kind footage that can command top dollar. It is meant for incredible, awe inspiring shot footage of subjects or behaviors that are not available to license anywhere else. Clips added to the Gold tier will not be included in volume licensing opportunities.

Choose Gold if it would be exceptionally difficult (or almost impossible) to replicate the shot without considerable time and resources.  The Gold price level should be applied to content that is only available to license through NatureFootage.

License & Pricing Guide:

As a guide for choosing the appropriate licensing category and pricing tier for your footage, please review the following chart:

 RF/RM ($$)
 RF/RM ($$ - $$$)

 RM ($$$)
 RM ($$$ - $$$$)
Key: Rights Managed (RM); Royalty Free (RF); Budget ($); Standard ($$); Premium ($$$); Gold ($$$$)

Please note that if you are not seeing any sales, it could be because your footage is overpriced.  Alternatively, clients may not be avoiding your footage because of the pricing, but because there isn't a project in need of the subjects in your collection at the moment.
