Remove Keyword(s) Tool

Remove Keyword(s) Tool

The "Remove Keyword(s)" tool allows contributors to easily remove keywords from up to 200 clips at at a time.  This tool can be found in the Actions menu in Cliplog,

To remove keywords from clips with this tool, please follow the steps below:
  1. First, find the clips you would like to remove keywords from in Cliplog, either by searching for them using the Clip Search and/or Search Filter panel, by opening up the clipbin your clips are stored in, or by finding the submission link in the Submissions Panel.

  2. Then, select the clips in your search results that you would like to remove keywords from in Cliplog.  You can do this by clicking on the "Select All" button (this will select every clip visible in your search results, clipbin/gallery/sequence, or submission), or you can select clips one at a time by hovering your mouse over the clip thumbnail image and clicking on the checkbox in the upper left hand corner of the thumbnail.  All selected clips will be highlighted in green.

  3. Then, open the Actions menu and select the "Remove Keyword(s)" option.  This will open up the Remove Keyword(s) window, which lists all of the keywords from each logging field on your selected clips.  The logging fields are listed in alphabetical order, and the keywords within each field are also displayed in alphabetical order, making it easy for you to find the keywords you would like to remove.

Select the keywords you want to remove from your clips by clicking on the keyword checkboxes, and then click on the "Remove" button at the bottom of the window.  A message will appear next to the "Remove" button informing you that the keywords have been removed from your selected clips.  Please note that the keywords you selected will be removed from ALL of the clips you had selected.

  4. If you are done removing keywords from your clips, you can see the changes you've just made by refreshing the page.  Once the page has been refreshed, you will see that the keywords you removed are no longer be displayed on your clips.  If you are still seeing the removed keywords on your clips, it could be because your clips contained duplicate keywords.  Re-select your clips, re-open the "Remove Keyword(s)" tool, and carefully check the keyword lists to see if the keyword you wanted to remove is also located in other logging fields.  Once you find them, select the duplicate keywords and remove them the same way you did the other keywords.

  5. If you have tried removing keywords, but they are still visible on your clips after refreshing the page and if there are no duplicate keywords, please let us know at contributors@naturefootage.com so we can look into the problem and find a solution.
