NatureFootage Cliplog Quick Guide - Basic Log

Basic Log

WHAT IS A BASIC LOG?
A basic log is the minimum amount of logging that is required in order for your footage to go online. This involves completing all the required fields in the clip edit window.

When your footage is first uploaded to Cliplog, by default it is marked with a red dot on the upper left hand corner of the clip thumbnail image, indicating that your clip is offline (not visible to clients).

Once your footage is uploaded and ready to log, we recommend getting your footage online and searchable for clients as soon as possible.  The instructions articles below will help you quickly get your footage online and available for licensing with a minimum basic log.

Your footage will automatically push online once a basic log saved. In Cliplog, a green dot will appear next to the clip ID(s) in the upper left corner of the thumbnail image, indicating that your footage is online and ready to be licensed.

Please note that the best internet browser to use for logging footage is the Google Chrome Browser.  If you are experiencing any issues with Cliplog in Chrome, we recommend that you first clear your cache.  If the problems persist, please contact us at contributors@naturefootage.com.

If you have any questions about choosing License Type and Price Level, see our Pricing Guide  for help.
